The three amigos - Photographs of friendship groups……..

It makes me proud that all three of our children have friends from childhood that they have been close to for a long time – even as they each grow up and change. 

I am sure you have your friends that you can just relax with and be yourself? The ones as we get older you may not see as often as you would like, as life gets busy, but that when you do it’s like you saw them yesterday.  It’s also so lovely to have shared experiences that you can laugh about from previously. 

Our eldest is an example as he has had two friends from when he was only months old when they met at nursery. All three live in Essex but not close in geography and they have not been to school with each other but met up holidays and weekends.  Now they are all at work but a few times a year they meet up and have a laugh as well as gaming online (lots!!). The nice things is, that they now have friends of each other’s as well so have a good space where they can just relax and have fun and be themselves.

So, to that end I recently (pre lockdown!!) asked our youngest and his two best friends if they fancied a photoshoot at a park.

My tag line is ‘natural happy relaxed photography for you and your family ‘and that’s really what I would like to deliver. To that end my shoots are always tailored to the client and getting them relaxed and enjoying themselves.  

For these three characters getting relaxed was not a problem!! Lots of laughing shouting and high jinks!! – reminded me of the old adage of not working with children – as in your own!! – Jake particularly enjoyed winding me up and not doing what asked so then the other two joined in!!! 

Regardless I love these images of the three of them.  When we took them, who would have guessed in a year this would not be possible.
