Why choose me as your photographer?
Finding the right photographer can be tricky. Connection and trust are both really important when choosing a photographer to work with.
I'm sure you'll find that with me, we'll get along brilliantly. I really do centre my photoshoots on making you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, which means we get to spend a few hours chatting, laughing, getting to know each other and shooting some naturally beautiful photos in the process.
Every shoot is unique and I work closely with you to ensure we create images that you treasure.
To this day, nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing clients' faces light up when they view their pictures, whether that be a family shoot in their home or garden, in a favourite location setting, a beach, a large formal wedding or a candid moment caught when least expected at a wedding or a social do.

Would I be the right photographer for you?
It may sound crazy but I am not going to say I'm everyone's photographer. It's impossible to be the perfect photographer for everyone. That's why it's crucial that you find the right photographer for you and your needs.
For me, it's about having a connection with the people I am taking photographs of. It's also about you being happy and relaxed when I am shooting you. If I have your trust and confidence in my abilities we can create something rather special!
So why would you choose me as your photographer over all the other photographers out there? If you want a quick answer, it's because...
The main reason is that you want a friendly, relaxed, skilled, thoughtful, passionate, hardworking, adaptable on the day, female photographer. It could also be because some of the things I have put here combined with seeing my work have clicked with you and make you want to find out more about what we could create together!
If that sounds like you, then I look forward to speaking to you very soon!!
Essex Photographer and Mum
I'd like to introduce you to two of our three munchkins! I came to photography later on in my career. Becoming a mum to our three children gave me the opportunity to explore my passion for photography and turn it into a career.
It's been nineteen years now, with the last twelve years working full-time as a photographer, and I haven't looked back since. I am very lucky to say I love my work!
I am a professional, trained, full-time photographer. I am also fully insured and pride myself on my ability to capture light.
Natural light is my passion. However, with us sometimes being blessed with the moody UK weather conditions, I will use flash when required.
To quote one of my clients 'Tracy has the technical ability to make a storm look like a lovely day!'
One thing I learnt early on in my photography career is that you can never be too prepared. So, I always make sure to have backup equipment (and backups for the backup equipment!).
I also have a circle of colleagues who I trust to stand in for me if I am ill. It's only happened once in 19 years! but it's good to have a backup and it gives you peace of mind that your photography plans can still go ahead.
I am very passionate about the photographs I take - every image is special and I will go to extremes at times to get the images! Lots of my clients remember me for being on a ladder to make sure I get that perfect photo!
Photographer In Front Of the Camera
Now you can see me on your side of the camera - This was a special shoot with my daughter.
My aim is to capture in camera rather than doing lots of extra Photoshop work in my post-processing. This means that I have trained hard to understand the best angles to shoot from, how to use different light sources and the flattering poses that will show each of my clients off to their best.
With that said, post-processing images is still an important part of the photoshoot. I am always thorough and meticulous during the post-processing element of my photoshoots. I take care to check each photograph individually to make sure it is at its best before I sneak-peek or show the final set of images to clients.
I also invest time in pre-meets for weddings and pre-conversations for shoots so that I am familiar with the people I am photographing before the official shoot day. Doing this helps us to develop that ever-so-important connection and trust that helps us get the best photographs on shoot day.
It's not just turn up on the day and shoot for X minutes - my work starts well before the shoot and ends after much attention to detail of the final images, a viewing, client selection of their images and then making sure the final product that they choose is perfect!
